I have to say, being a licensee is as good as it gets. I can say this from owning two businesses prior to this role, the fact that the licensee position offers so much autonomy without the stresses of managing a full blown business is really ideal for someone who works efficiently, maintains client relationships, and wants a massive earning potential. (like truly massive earning potential). If you think about a traditional role of employee-employer, the employee is most always less invested in the business compared to the employer. The employer has far more risk than the employee so it only makes sense that the employer would be more invested. However, as a licensee, you are just as invested in the business because the clients are yours to earn, and yours to lose and you are directly compensated for that. You don’t have to come up with the processes. You don’t have to pay for the mortgage of the building. You don’t have to come up with the marketing content. You don’t have to stress about the brand. Because it’s all done for you.
